has anyone has the 90 degree boots split open on them mine just did and it sucked

go to home depot/lowe's or wherever and get one...they sell the rubber 90 degree bends there, thats where i got mine emoji

If the ones you are talking about from home depot, are the PCV pipe ones, then dont use those. I have melted those before...Of course this was next to the exaust manifold too. It may be ok to use them if its not by any big heat source. I still woulnt advise using those though..Go to your local auto store and look for radiator hoses. You will always find on with a 90 degree bend and the right diameter. I use radiator hose for couplers, and they work great.
