#5366, "vaccuum lines"

Hey first I'd like to say that evryone here is PIMP (I got car fixed, FCD, and I can't get rid of the "grin") I need some pics of everybody's vaccuum line set-up. I got a kit and want the compartment looking good. Also how can I control the boost? I got a turboXS man. boost controller and it seems like it spikes alot when dropping the clutch @ 3000 or even getting on it hard.
Thanks ALL (and Wyatt for speedy response with new FCD)

Shit is all apart. Typical...

I get that too, Erik.
try plumbing the source to the boost controller from a manifold source rather than from the compressor housing. It migth give you better response and consistancy
Nop prob about the FCD. Glad to help

Main cause of boost spikes with manual controllers are too small silicon lines and too long hoses. Dont use that little sh*t that you use for the FMU/boost gauge ect. My controller came with short 3/8" or so silicon and I had no choice but to mount it on the radiator cause of the length of hose (I didn't make any of this up read http://www.racetep.com/turbo.html#dab ) Of course you may just have a shitty controller (I've heard the standard controller is spike prone but the high performance model is great). No boost spikes here yet Joe P MBC (if only I could raise boost a little more and put the damn thing to use)

Well I was motivated enough to put the damn thing in the bumper so onlookers THINK I have it hooked up. I even got up off my lazy azz and finished cutting the bumper support. Now all I need is some cash and time to get the job done (yes pimp daddy is broke for a few weeks as I recooperate from frivilous spending) emoji Mister "I cant handle all this boost"
