Is anyone running Crane #16's with turbo? If so what are the setting for your cam gears? I need some help With a baseline to start from. I have the car running without the turbo hooked up. I just left the intercooler pipe off of the throttle body. Right now the intake is set at 7 degress advanced and exhaust is at 0. It runs but seems to be slugish till 2000 rpm. Any help would be great.

yeah those are for high compression, i would've gotten the #14's instead that are meant for boosted cars. the 14's give you a little more intake and less exhaust. too much exhaust will overkill your turbine.

generally, you don't want to mess with the exhaust cam too much. remember, the camshaft posistion sensor is located on that. start fooling with that and you may get weird things happening with the spark advance. when Todd was on the dyno at the shootout, he only adjusted the intake cam. i think he got it close to +8 degrees and it still idled decently. he gained almost 10 WHP on a normally asperated applicaion by just turning that gear a few degrees.

Hey thanks guys, well I found out what the problem was. The pin on the cam broke. which threw the engine out of time. Luckly I wasn't going down the road and at high rpms. So a new pin in the cam and reassemble the engine and it's go time again.
