#53467, "NX Nitrous kit??Wet,Dry,or Direct Port??"

Hi,

I was looking into getting a NX nitrous kit eventually for my 2G Eclipse GS after I get the car(hopefully in 2 months) and after I do some other modifications first like I/H/E, the Indy intake manifold, and a 60mm throttle body. The only thing is I really don't know what kind of kit to get either the wet, dry,or direct port,so I decided to ask you experts for some help on which one will be best for my application and also I don't want to blow my engine!I know you shouldn't get more then 50-75 HP on a stock or mildly fixed up 4-cylinder,thats why I only want a 50 shot.So with that being said which will be best for me a wet, dry,or direct port NX nitrous kit?Which kit is is the easiest to install and last the longest? If it matters the I/H/E I'm getting is a AEM cold air intake, either Greddy or some other company that makes good 4-2-1 design headers, and either a Apexi N-1,Magnaflow,or Airmass thundermuff full exhaust with 2.5" piping all the way back,I don't know I haven't decided yet.I have a few other questions about getting either one of the NOS kits.First will I need to do an ignition upgrade and will I have to retard the timing? If I have to retard the timing how will I go along doing that? Also will I need aftermarket spark plugs and/or ignition wires? If so what size should I get for ignition wires and who makes good ignition wires and spark plugs?I'm sorry if these questions are stupid ,been asked before,or offended anybody in any way,LOL,but I just need to know so I don't buy something I'll regret later.Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

P.S.
Will I also need to do a fuel upgrade and if it matters later on in the future I do plan on getting a turbo kit, probably the Hahn Racecraft stage 2 turbo kit?If I need to do a fuel upgrade what will I need to upgrade and who makes good fuel sytem upgrades?

I wish I had an Eclipse!!

Depending on what year you get depends on wet or dry. You won't need a DP kit if your only gonna be running a 50 shot. Once you get the car let us know, we'll help you out.

well if your a 96+ with a returnless fuel system youll deff blow your shit up heh.

more related to your question, if your a 95 you can run a dry kit, but if your 96+ you HAVE to have a wet kit. highest reccomended shot you can run on stock internals is 75. direct port will be a little much unless you have upgraded internals to handle the added nitrous.
