Just for the record I did use the search function first, but i didn't find exactly what I was looking for. My Question is when building a bottom end up for turbo use what all should be replaced for 300+ hp applications? i'm thinking 8.8:1 forged pistons, and forged connecting rods, but what else should i look into? And while i'm at it what mods to the head would help for best results, valves, springs? Sorry for the probably commonly asked and very annoying Q's, but i'm new to this. Thanks

No power windows, no power locks, not even a freakin rear wiper, but she's still the hottest little thing in red around this hick town!

All you really need is pistons and rods. Mark made 330fwhp on the S16G and the only thing he has in the motor is JE 8.8:1 Pistons and Eagle Rods. The rest is just bonus. You can look into cams, springs, etc. They are not necessary, but they will help.

to make 300hp ona 420a no head mods needed..

u need to replace the pistons and rods in the btoom end while your in there it is a good idea to machine your block repace main and rod bearings and oil pump, water pump isn't a bad idea either...

springs need to be replace if u plan on going above your rev limiter..

bottom kits i have for 1100$ shipped if your interested i use JE or weisco pistons...

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
