I just scored a stage 2 star turbo kit!!!! I bought it off a friend you blew his motor nad went ahead a bought a 1g. Here is what is included in the kit:
FMIC
FMIC pipes
HKS SS Bov
Vortech FMU
Accel 310cc injectors
Missing link
Down Pipe
Manifold
External Wastegate
etc.....(sleaves, clamps, all that stuff)
THe only thing that I have to buy is the turbo, but I am searching for one as we speak. Anyway, what guages and other goodies will I need for the installation. Also I am thinking about running like 7psi is that good? Or no? Thanks for the responses

The wastegate comes with a 7psi spring which will actually be about 4-5psi after the drop you get from the FMIC. You'll need a boost controller to get it up to your 7psi. I don't think that I would boost anymore than the 7-8psi on stock internals. As far as gauges go. I have a boost, air/fuel and EGT gauge. That seems to be about what people recommend. You could also get an oil pressure gauge or a fuel pressure gauge as well if you wanted.

you should think about purchasing a vortech sfmu w/ 8:1 disk or a S-AFC for those 310cc injectors...if not you may run rich.

bobin' and weavin' in traffic. No other place i'd rather be emoji.
