I want suggestions on which is preferred more by you guys. I know of the AFX UDP, but nopi sells the unorthodox pulley for more. I am not worried about price, but want better quality for my motor and performance. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

UR is the lightest and the best if u can afford it...

lemme know if u need one

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.

FYI, I'm pretty sure theat teh Unorthodox one is rated at a smaller "underdrive" then the AFX one. But I'm using the Unorthodox... and it's great emoji

Well, I am the first one with the AFX to apparently post here. I'm almost positive it's a 30% underdrive. If the UR is different, this may be a deciding factor.

I was very impressed with the quality of the AFX piece. It was cleanly machined and it seems to have a made a difference in the power I can put down. I just did too much else at the same time to be sure how much...

From what I was told by a ur rep, the older UR pulleys had a 20% underdrive but the newer ones as in a year or so ago are 30%, I have a UR and am extremely happy with the quality and overall performance with it. havent had one bit of problem at all in almost a year.

UR is better, as you have more options to change the ratio or accessories driven, its lighter, but it's less underdrive. Costs more too.

AF/X is more underdrive, but it's squeaky, and the aluminum bends pretty easy. I have the AF/X just cause its cheaper.
