Hey guys. Now that the eclipse is my 2nd car I can take out the AC. I was thinking about using the AC radiator and installing a water pump and tank to create a 2nd water cooling system to cool the turbo. Does anyone kow if the ac radiator will hold water? This will be great if it works out!

Well you are talking about the condensor, which is meant for high pressure freon, not water. I dont know, to me, it wouldnt work right, but what the hell, you can always try it. It may be better to use just a normal, maybe small coolant radiator if you wish..

you are not running enough boost to need that kind of a setup..... just stay with oil.... and air to air intercooler..... you would need to be running over 30psi to really need that kind of a setup.....just stay with what you have

Yeah i'm not worried about hooking up a tank and a pump with all the wiring. My main concern is mounting another radiator in there, even if it is small. And yeah mabye I don't NEED that but it couldn't hurt, it would also keep my oil temp down since the water will also be carrying off heat.

in that case go for it, if it will be an electrical pump you can use the type that RVS use, its about 8 in by 4 by4. And maybe you can use 2 small coolers.
