Lots of people on here use the SAFC. It does some bad timing stuff to you car though if used anything above like +- 10% adjustments. Other than that great unit for the money. Jet v force thing....dunno.... Most people use the SAFC and the SFMU to really dial in the tuning. I guess to answer you question, yes you can use the SAFC and a regular FMU. If it were me, I would spend the xtra 100 bucks and get the SFMU over the regular FMU.

I suggest you get a S-FMU. Later, you can add the S-AFC if you feel you need it.
I would avoid that Jet V-force thing all together. I think they only sell that item to people who have more money than knowledge. It probably just plays with the MAP and ECT outputs. That would adjust fuel and timing. But, I don't see how it could really be useful. Where are the adjustments to let you fine tune per your mods? All I see is a knob and LED bar graph. I bet you just turn the knob (and LED's light up) to adjust from "stock shizzle" to "mad powah". That looks like a ricer product. But, I'm just guessing...I may be wrong.
