i plan on boosting at a max of 10 psi on the star stg 2. what injector size would you increase to, if any, and what other addons would you add to accomodate those injectors, if any?

thanks,
dave

Vortech S FMU and probably around 310+ cc injectors. only reason being that the stock injectors have been known to crack at the high psi required to run 10 lbs of boost.

Yep, I agree, 310's will be just about perfect for that setup.

I plan on going with a similar set up, and when I asked Wyatt the same question when I ordered my kit, he recommended 360's, so that's what I ordered.

hmm I ran 8 and 10 on stock injectors seemed fine until my boost controller broke. Really the injectors will begin to crak O_o?

why do you need a SFMU? I got a FMU already.

ok cool. do you think that the vortech sfmu is necessary or could you simply run larger injectors without any assistance?

where can i get the vortech sfmu?

The Star kit comes with a Vortech FMU - which is a fuel riser. It requires the use of an external fuel pressure regulator. You're using the stock fuel pressure regulator, so the FMU is working fine.

The Vortech SFMU is a fuel pressure regulator and fuel riser all in one. The reason you would get this(or something like it) is because with bigger injectors you'll want to lower the base fuel pressure. Can't do that with the stock fuel pressure regulator - or the FMU. But you can with the SFMU - it replaces both the stock fuel pressure regulator and the FMU.

Can you adjust idle fuel pressure with a regular FMU?? If so, then no, you will be fine.
