You can run 100shot to be on the edge with n20. Then most likley your problem will be a burnt valve. You can push 9-12psi on a stock bottom end and you will most likley blow a piston ring. Why couldn't you run a 50 shot of n20 @ 5 psi and be safe accross the board?

Who said you could not?

You can, but it seems pointless when one or the other would accomplish the same a lot simpler. The only time to run both is when you are pushing the edge on one and just trying to get that bit more. I have nitrous I have never used because as long as I can get more out of the turbo I see no point. I think once I reach the maximum usefullness of the 525 injectors I will explore the route of having the nitrous push it over the edge.

Thanks murix, Im just exploring some possibilities. What would you think of something like this.

Running 5psi daily and running a 50 shot for when I race? Would this be safer then parse running 10psi? What are the positives and negatives?

Get a 5lb wastegare spring and an electronic boost controller. You can hit 10lbs only when you want to race and 5 the rest of the time without having to worry about filling a bottle. emoji

The biggest problem with running both is the added complexity. There are really no additional benefits. I could stretch and say the nitrous would give extra cooling, but it will still require a lot of extra tuning.

Actually, you would pretend like you are going to run 5psi only on the street, but that would last for the first 10 minutes. emoji
