Im planning on getting a NX kit by the end of the summer. I wanted to know what things you guys think i should spend $$ on and what things arent needed. Im going to need gauges a/f, pyro/exhaust temp, and fuel pressure. Bottle heater, purge kit, bottle opener, switches. Any thing you can think of?? also is there any thing in my list that isnt useful?? also does anyone have a pic of there switches? thanks in advance!

i just hooked up my NOS brand fogger kit and was amazed. Currently i'm broke w/a fucked headgasket as a result of my fun filled nights of spraying tho lol. IT creates incredible power but you do have to be careful. Those gauges are a good idea, and as far as everything you need is, the bottle, nitrous pressure gauge, airplane grade line from bottle to nitrous solenoid, fuel solenoid, wiring harness, lots of crimp connectors, zex nitrous plugs are good, and good gas. I know i'm leaving stuff out but the other stuff is given. I hooked my purge up and love it, it fucking starts somany races and people are always like DAAAAAmn lol good luck and go for it:thumbsup

I would def invest in a bottle warmer, its a big difference in getting the right pressure out of the bottle. purge kits are fun and rather inexpensive. You'll be fine with NGK stock range plugs with anything under like an 80 to 85 shot. Air/fuel and nitrous gauges. And that should be good. You can get an egt gauge but I dont think it would be too important with a small shot. What size shot are you going to run?

Hey man, I got a 95 eclipse. Could you guys tell me what all I need like ^^^said can you guys list "everything"? Because before I go turbo (who knows when) I want to experience nitrous... Also, do brands make a difference? (ex. Zex, NOS, etc.) Please hook me up with some info. And the price I should expect for everything.

If the kit doesn't already come with one, you might want to get a window switch as well. This allows you to set a minimum RPM limit and max RPM limit so you don't spray too early, or spray too close to redline.

Dont forget an upgraded clutch. your stocker wont appreciate a 75-shot for too long. and id get one range colder plugs also( NGK BKR7E-11, or stock #1283) just to be on the safe side.

My clutch is still good and I have over 100k and been through about 10 bottles. You can get colder plugs but are plugs are already pretty cold rated. I've ran nothing but the stock range ngk plugs the whole time, and always inspect the plugs. A window switch is a good safety precaution but I havent had a need for it. I just wait till I get tractiono in first and flip the arming switch and dont let off until end of third or fourth (depending on how long the race lasts, street or strip). I just set my shift light at 6900 and I usually shift right on time.

Coppereclipse95: with a 95 you can run a dry or a wet. I went with a dry. Zex make a great dry kit. Anything over approx 80 shot, you'll want a wet though. Just buy a kit then the extras mentioned above.
