#51890, "8 Injectors with low boost (or no boost)"

I haven't got all the parts I need for my custom setup yet, this is why I need to know.

I plan on running at least 15psi before its all over, but right now I'm gonna be running 8-9 psi.

My question is, will there be any problem using the 8 injector setup with this boost level until I can rebuild, or should I just use the S-FMU. I plan on using the 8 inj. eventually, and just thought it might be better to do it now instead of spending money on things I won't use when I do.

Also, I wanted to set up my fuel system for maybe a week or two before I put everything else on to make sure all is good. Can I use the 8 inj. with no boost? What problems could I have? TIA! emoji

I ran it for over 6 months with lower boost like youre proposing.

There is absolutely no danger with having the 8 injector setup and not implementing while waiting to install or use the actual turbo. The car will run just as fine with it on there. Having it, is sort of the reason why it should work so well, under non-boosted situations; it's the most non-invasive form of adding fuel to the stock ecu and its stock fuel injectors.
