2 question for everyone... 1-how many kiles were on your motor when you first introduces it to our little friend named boost? and 2-how many miles have you run on your motor since then (if a rebuild was done mid-way through, please specify) i wanna know what kind of odds im looking at if youre curious, i have 84K right now and probably wont be able to afford the internals till at least this time next year (at about 100K) what are your thoughts on this?

I would think that as long as your head gasket and compression are still in good shape, you will be fine for turbo. Especially if you can rebuild the engine in a year.
I only have about 600 miles on my turbo, but its been flawless so far. Keep the boost at 5psi and your engine will definitely last at least one more year. (as long as it is in good shape right now)

Well only about 35K miles on the engine so far (its only 1.5 yrs old) but the cyl head has well over 100K miles. I put about 300 miles on it the day after I installed it driving back home and put 60 miles round trip each day to work so I'm racking up miles pretty quickly. My car itself has 144K miles on it. The tranny is used and has the wrong fluid in it but it was put in 2000 miles after the engine along with a clutch that I"ll be replacing as soon as I'm intercooled.
