don't know what the deally is, but no matter how I set my manual boost controller, it won't boost over 12psi. I have the joe p and hallman manual boost controller. I have no boost leak, so could it be the internal wastegate? How would I fix this?

Have you tried each of the boost controllers? id suspect a wastegate problem, maybe have the BC hooked up wrong, or you have a really big boost leak somewhere. www.TeamKLR.com 1997 Silver RS Wiseco 8.8:1 Pistons(back to low compression!) my car wouldn't boost above 10 psi for the longest time..i just fixed it like 4 days ago.. the vaccum line to my boost gauge had a hole in it cause i was being cheap and bought some aquarium hosing instead of real vaccum hosing :x now i'm back up to 15-16 psi

12psi is stock for a 4g63 motor... 15psi of boost is just a small difference. Michael 99gs (broken) Motor being built now HRC Stage 2 8-Injector Setup Fully Built by July 25,2003 hehe 2GNT Member #32

my boost guage came with the nylon tube. I'll check all my conncections tomorrow. One problem after the next. Just today I floored it to 12psi then I started getting misfires. Car was throwing codes too. I unhooked the battery for 10 minutes, and it was back to normal. WTF?
