I put on my new Greddy Type S bov....now how do I adjust it? I was told you dont have to hook up anything on the bottom of the Greddy bov, is this true....what can be hooked up there?

leave it all the way out and start the car. Then listen for a hiss or leaks. slowly turn the screw till their gone. I just cranked mine down and drove around, stopping to adjust it until compresser surge was down to the absolute minimum. also, PLEASE NOTE, after you adjust the screw, do NOT OVERTIGHTEN the lock nut! Just tighten it enuff so the screw feels secure. They strip VERY easily.

I would start from hard. Compressor surge is when you let off, and your turbo makes a funny stuttering sound, rather than a loud swift Psssft.
I think the ideal point is where you are able to hold max boost pressure, and have no surge at WOT and part throttle shifts. It takes time to adjust these valves.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't brass piston type vavles such as your TurboXS, and turbo Smart products react faster to pressure change? When compare to your Pull type (HKS SS), and Diaphragm (type S).
