it sounds like a side effect of using colder plugs. They don't warm up as quick so your don't burn all the fuel as quickly.

i realize i've been having a few ignition problems ltaely w/ the vcg leaking and all, but it's all good once it's warmed up.

I also experience the same symptom. Warm up time is a little longer for me, since I "modified" the egr system.

Every now and then when I start my car, it'll run a little rough and then it'll smooth out when it warms up.
