agreed. i got the 1G SMIC and some custom press bent 2" piping made up for my stage 1 HRC kit. brings you to stage 2. get a bottom rebuild, injectors, decent exhaust, S-FMU, and you're at stage 3 ish.

wyatt who is that and where is that??? plus the FMIC look tight and the one on over boost all the pipes are chrome looks pretty sweet..If you think about it by the time i get my pipes made for a FMIC which is cooler plus buy a FMIC it will run me about same price and it will take longer...I will keep that in mind also as long as i find out who wyatt is..

If you ever wanna run lots of boost, or cool the air the most efficient way, do it right the first time, and get a FMIC now. IMO. in the long run, the money you spend on a sidemount and pipeing for it is wasted since you will be upgrading it down the road. unless of course, you just wanna keep the sidemount and run less boost or settle for less efficient cooling and more problems with heatsoak. im not trying to down either method, or prove one better than the other either, cause it really doesnt matter to me. just stating my opinion.
