#50944, "Vt engine is in a running"

My last day of class was last tuesday so on wednesday I started tearing my car apart to put the new engine in. While I was at it I put a new inputshaft bearing in the trans too. The engine runs great. It is a little noisy but I think It is comming from my stock lifters and rockers. I also built my 8 injector setup. I am having problems programmin the eci though. When I hook it up and the power is on the program beeps and freezes my laptop. Please help I cannot wait to start boosting. 15psi here I come! I have some pictures If anyone wants to host them.
Late
Paul

yo. how long did it take you to put the motor in? did you do it on a lift of in a garage? I should be getting my motor from VT in a week or so and i want to put it in over the 3 day holiday weekend. My friends got a lift at work they said i could use, and air tools n' shit. I just don't want to have it apart and not finish it in time becuase ill never have time to make it back out there to finish it. and i really don't want to pay $1200 to have it installed! let me know, thanks.

It took me 4&1/2 days but I also fixed my trans and did a complete fuel system. I also ran into some problems with my fuel rails. You should be able to do it in 3 days no problem. I did all the work in my garage. Good luck.
