I tried doing it myself, but the banjo bolt that connects the fuel feed line into the FPR assembly is stuck in there. I tried using all sorts of wrenches and soacked it in wd40, liquid wrench, and PB Blaster. Nothing helped.
Ive been pulling so hard that the feed line is starting to bend/break and the fuel filter assembly is starting to rip (the place where the fuel filter is attached to the FPR, the metal is actually starting to be pulled out). I dont really want to damage the feed line, its probably an expensive OEM piece.
I was thinking I need a place just to loosen the bolt or something, theyd probably have to use an impact wrench. But my car was off the road for a good week with me trying to get that bolt off and I really need my car. So it would just much less of a hassle to take it to a shop. Can anyone recommend one?

hmmm, well why don't you just ditch the whole regulator/filter assembly and just remove the lines from the fuel pump feed at the bracket and at the connection to the hardline after the stock reg. then just clamp on new fuel line to the pump assembly and hardline and put an inline filter in between. this is actually what i did, although i did get those banjo bolts off, but to do this setup you won't need to.

I think I kinda get what you mean. But I disconnected all the lines except for the hard line that goes to the fuel rail, thats the one I cant get out. To take out the assembly without actually removing the fuel line banjo bolt would mean that I would have to remove the ENTIRE hard line all the way to the front of the car. The fuel feed line is attached to the FPR.
I could always just run a fuel return line and disconnect the fuel return line that goes from the FPR to the tank... but that wouldnt work, would it?

You are supposed to have to run a new return line from the SFMU to the tank, if the SFMU is in the engine bay, where it should be. i just got through installing my SFMU, and i bugged the crap out of XtremeRS and WhoDatt97, but i now am an expert at it! im not sure i understand which bolt you cant get off. is it the one that connects the fuel filter to the tank? or the one that connects the FPR/Filter assembly to the hardline under the car? you probably already know this, but ONLY the fitting on the right side(with the male threads that slides over the hard line under the car, and over the barb on the tank) is the one that turns. mine was a little hard to break loose, but nothing like yours.

Yes, its the bolt that connects the hard feed line into the FPR/Fuel Filter assembly. Thats the one I cant get out. Im also workin on jackstands, so its in kind of an awkward position. I know only the top parts spins

im not sure i understand which bolt you cant get off. is it the one that connects the fuel filter to the tank? or the one that connects the FPR/Filter assembly to the hardline under the car? you probably already know this, but ONLY the fitting on the right side(with the male threads that slides over the hard line under the car, and over the barb on the tank) is the one that turns. mine was a little hard to break loose, but nothing like yours.
