what is your static fp? Not idle, but static. And how do you adjust the static fp. Do you guys still have the check valve on?

well i have the sfmu, so it's adjusted by the static adjustment screw. it's at about 29psi now, but i've been having some special situations lately which is why it's so low.

My guess would be, for 30lb injectors, roughly 30psi static pressure, and roughly 20psi pressure at full vacuum. That seems to be what i see the most.

For what its worth, though, you don't want your full vacuum pressure to be lowet than about 20psi. After that, the atomization of the fuel becomes erractic and poor and idle quality will suffer, as well as (potentially) low RPM/low THR/low load throttle response.

What about idle pressure? Should it be somewhere in the 20s?

Yep, exactly. I see about 20-21 psi at idle, and about 30-32 psi at 0 vac. I def have noticed the throttle responce has degraded also. If i do a quick rev of the gas, it's not instant revving. The low fuel pressure i'm sure has something to do with it.

alright! i DO (took a while to figure that out) have accel 30's. Why do i seem to be so different from everyone else with my fuel settings?
Static is 28psi, idle is 17ish psi, stft's are good at around 3-5's, and im STILL hitting 1.03v average A/F @ WOT, EGT's seem to be good at 1400*-1500*, running 7 psi, short spring & 2.72" disc.

ideas?

Hey tim your numbers are about the same as mine. my idle pressure is 17 psi, anything higher the car will stall out. I was thinking about tring to turn it up to 20 psi and reset the ecu to learn new trims and have a little higher fp under boost but at wot I only get 1450*F MAX on the egt, so i guess i dont really need to. The car idles great at 17 psi and the throttle responce dosen't seem too bad.

I have mine at 30 psi at idle and with the vacuum hose disconnected, it's at 50psi. If I leave it at 20psi for idle, I would eventually get the CEL 51. Tuning her can be a pain the arse sometimes.
