while driving on the highway. In 5th gear and normal cruising with my foot partially on the gas my egt is about 1400 and my a/f read about 1.1-1.04. Is this normal? Give me some of your readings.

Well today on the freeway crusing in 5th my blinky a/f was pegged green, and my egt's were closer to 1500.

At 65-70 MPH, my egt is about 1300 deg.
At 75-80 MPH, my egt is about 1350-1375 deg.

When cruising, the a/f readings should fluctuate. The a/f gauge is only accurate when you go WOT.

~70mph I'm @ 1300-1350 on the EGT and A/F changing
~80mph I'm @ 1350-1400 on the EGT " " " "

Funyn thing is this, when I floor ir from 70mph, my EGT's willa ctually go DOWN, then start to rise. My A/F will hit around .98-1.02 and my EGT's will not get above 1500 in 3rd @ redline. I know I'm running PIG rich, but my crappy Cartech won't adjust the FP low enough.

its very hard to compare egt temps and air/fuel numbers. nobody's setup is exactly the same. even where people install the egt probe will have drastically different numbers.
