#50177, "weird problem after not using the car for 2 weeks"

hey fellas how's it been. ok, i was away for 2 weeks and had my car kept in the garage. i just went to start it up today and it began to idle real rough, as if it were running way too rich or lean. my o2 volts were over 2.30v ! however, once the car comes out of open loop, everything goes back to normal, but i got a cel for o2 voltage too high. then i shut it off, and turn it on again, and same thing happens, this time i get a cel for system too rich and both my fuel trims were pegged at -25. now, it is a bit hotter here than it was last time i ran it, but could that really cause that much of a difference? i ended up turning the fp down from 24 at idle to about 19.5 psi. i ran it for a while and it ran fine, but it's still rich. at WOT i'm getting .98-1.02 from the o2. could my o2 be going bad? it ran fine before i left. it only seems to go nuts when i first start it up. one thing that i changed is i plugging back in the pcv to the mani. i did that the last day that i used the car, before that i had the valve connected to a line that was just hanging b/c i hadn't been able to route it into my catch can yet. i had my sfmu connected to the pcv barb on the mani, and now i have both the sfmu and the pcv connected there again. i don't see how that could really change anything though. what'ya think?

ok something's really messed up. everytime i start the car while it's cold the o2 volts are over 2v like i said and it idles real rough. there's absolutely no power it just bogs especially in boost. i've ended up turning the fp down to 12psi at idle to get the car to not bog down! however, my o2 volts are still wacky and extremely high everytime i start the car. bad o2? thought i'd just add to my post

Sounds like you changed the pressure readings going to the s-fmu. Unplug it again to see what happens. Also try running your s-fmu to a seperate pressure line by itself.

well i tried disconnecting the pcv again and running the same setup as before, but it still did the same thing. i ended up getting a new o2 today and that fixed everything. in fact now that i have a good o2, i'm realizing all of the things that the old one was screwing up. i guess it was gradually going bad for a a while now.

BTW - for the archives, since there has been some confusion, the part # for the bosch front o2 direct replacement(round plug) is 13399. it's only listed under the eagle talon, not the eclipse. just thought i'd throw that in there.
