#49990, "Turbo on, now CEL"

Been boosted for a few hours, after alittle while CEL came on, checked, its code 21, the PCM sheet says "Injector #1 harnass". I talked to the guys that put it on and they think its because the schrader check valve is right behind #1 cylinder and because of the new fuel setup hooked up to it, it could be causing the CEL to register for that. Drives great, no problems. It makes sense to me, just wondering if anyone else got the same code after boosting.

That fuel setup has nothing to do with the CEL. check the harness to the injectors and make sure the contacts are clean on the harness and on the injector. Sounds like the ecu lost its connection to the #1 injector.

Seems strange though, I was just sitting in my driveway, letting it idle, came back and the CEL was on, runs exactly the same. Could it be that it lost the connection for a second at the CEL is still there? Its not bogging or hesitation, feels strong.

well, shit, I was looking at the wrong section for the CEL #. Well, which O2 sensor is it? I got the blinky A/F gauge, doesn't look like I'm running rich or anything. Think maybe it just hiccuped?

the cel won't differentiate(sp?) between the front and rear o2 sensor codes. You will need someone to check it with a dataloger to see which one it is.

i recently got the same code. my datalogger says it's the 1st one. my oxygen sensor has certinly been acting up funny recently - sometimes just for fun it will trip "1. " with corbin's A/F gauge, representing higher than a 1.99 volts situation. however, it goes back to normal after a short while of being like that. the embarassing part is that it did that when i was about to do a burnout at the local drag strip, so everyone thought i stalled my car when i was doing my burnout when i really just turned my car off and on again to reboot the ECU (and the oxygen sensor too)

so, does an oxygen sensor act like that when it's about to go?
