#49785, "1 1/2" Mechanical Autometer Fuel Pressure Gauge - any good?" Jun-01-03 10:52 AM by Attrayant
Hey, is anyone using these small fuel pressure gagues that mount under the hood in the engine compartment? On www.jegs.com its part #105-2180 There only $30 for the 0-100psi. My problem is that I cant afford the $200 Autometer Ultralite Elec 100psi gauge right now, and I know the one HRC includes in its kit is not for permnament use. Wondering if it would be fine for at least alittle while. TIA!

I use the Summit Fuel Pressure gauge (1-1/2"). It's liquid-gel filled to prevent condensation and resist vibration. It's 0-100psi at 2psi increments... works great!
I have the summit one as well and it works great. Liquid filled and all just as described above. I'll post up a pic for you tonight if I think of it. I made a custom bracket and mounted it on the firewall just behind the TB.
^^^^^post up a pic of your FPG sticking out the hood, or send it to me at gahman2@yahoo.com I would love to do this on mine so I could watch while I drive. Thanks man
