I just got the HKS TT Type I and have gotten everything done except the blue and brown wires that are suppose to run to the ECU. The brown one is suppose to go to the rpm signal wire and the blue one is suppose to go to the speed sensor wire. I tried looking through my manual and the instructions but they don't have where to put these two wires are. The instructions are for the 4g63 because they said it was mostly the same hook up but the wiring to the ECU is different. Can some one give me how the ECU looks for my RS that does not have a factor alarm. I just need to locate the speed sensor wire and the rpm sensor wire so I can complete this. Ya know...Ive been looking for that damn tach wire for the longest...they say its the solid white wire on the upper part of the ECU in the engine bay..but in all honesty I dont have one.?? My car came without a tachometer when I bought it and I dont think there is a hook up for it ??

I have a tach I just can't were to find the wire at. My ECU is located under my dash. I have my PCM in the engine bay. My car is a 1997 RS and I can't seem to find out were those two wires go. I even emailed HKS and haven't heard anything back yet. I hope I can get this fixed. If anyone has any info please let me know I really want to get this correctly hooked up.

Well, I tried to E-mail you but it's not working?? So, here it is...
ON the drivers side right behind your radio is your ECU hook up. You will see it after you take off the side panle. The brown wire ( RPM ) from the Turbo Timer goes to the PURE White wire on the ECU and the Blue Wire ( SPEED ) From the Turbo Timer goes to the Yellow Wire with the WHITE strip on the ECU. Hope this helps...if not let me know.

We can get a Turbo Timer Harness and just plug it into our cars? That's pretty sweat. Where is the connectors and I'm assuming the harness if for a GST?

I know Wyatt and others used a harness for 95up GSTs/GSXs. GReddy/HKS/Blitz all have GST Harnesses for $10-20 (available everywhere turbo timers are sold hehe). I was told the connector is under the steering wheel panel and plugs right in but was hoping someone could varify a little more.

YOU CANT!!! DAMN!!! Well, my Viper won't!! But I think that the stock alarm will. Anyone with a stock alarm wanna try to lock your doors with the engine running???

Some aftermarket alarms have turbo timer compatibility. The one I can think of off the top of my head is the Clifford G4. I'm not certain of this, but when I had my Clifford installed, he said the G4 did allow turbo timer use. I, of course, did not get the G4, I got the one below it.
1) Use a GST/X wiring harness, just make sure it is for the 2G and not the 1G, they are different P/N... It does connect to the harness in your steering column and is fairly simple and all the instructions were included with mine...
2) use a alarm with the TT, but with an exception... You have to use relays to trick the Alarm into not arming until the engine shuts off. What this means is you will have to have an alarm that passive arms on it own and then you will have to manually lock the doors so no low life can just simply open your car doors while the vehicle is running.
I know that #2 is correct because I know an installer named Chip at Best Buy in San Antonio that said he has the wiring schematics and P/N for the relays that are required to do the install. I personally would love to have it done, but I moved upto Austin before I had a chance to get Chip to hook it up... Said it was like $50 in parts and labor total...
