Is there any other way of getting FUEL CUT besides not have a missing link or a defective "black box"? I'm new to all this turbo stuff. SO teach me . Thanks for any infos. -england
i am also curous about this because, i think i may have expirienced fuel cut the other day, i hit about 5,000 rpm, and it fell on its face, or to put it better, lost HP... this is the only time it happened, and i do have a missing link...
any ideas?
ps. i thought at one time my ML was bad, so i took it out, my buddy poked something in there, it came apart, then we put it back together and it seemed fine... so it could be a deffective ML, but like i said, it has been working fine till now, so i am not sure... has anyone officially expirienced fuel cut? what does it feel like?
thanks guys
anyone ever thought of a drive-thru parts store? that would be cool!
it could be something as simple as your fmu or safc not seeing boost. or clogged injectors, anything that is preventing you from sending more fuel into the engine.

also, check your spark plug gapping. should be .03". an excessively rich condition will also trigger fuel cut, like 1.00+ volts with the oxygen sensor.
if you have an AFC, your MAP sensor voltage shouldn't go any higher than 4.65 MAXIUM. any higher than that (at least with my ECU) will trigger fuel cut. if your MAP sensor likes to go to like 4.70 volts or something, a quick solution to that would be to input like -5% correction across the board with the AFC. right now i run -2% across the rev range because of a sketchey missing link. remember, the AFC changes the MAP sensor voltage, so it's a good way to fine tune things.

Good Input
