i was wondering how hot it gets about. i hear there are two types of cc for a dp one is a titanium color which holds up to 1300, and a silver satin which holds up to 1100. how hot is the hrc dp get or in general ?

The typical guideline for watching EGT's is that you should add ~200 deg if you've mounted your probe in the DP. So, it depends on your max EGT, but I'd opt for something 1500+ if possible.

It will cool down somewhat after going through the turbo. Somewhere around 200deg has been the suggested acceptable value.

If your probe reads 1500 at the exhaust manifold, it is roughly 1300 at the downpipe.
