this is probably already posted in the "already been seen" section but i can't seem to find it. but anyways, how much boost can you run a stock 420a engine? i have a 97 eclipse w/ 105k miles on it. its running fine, but what is maxed, but safe?

Easy enough question to answer. NONE. But if your willing to take the risk I would not go over 5-6 lbs non intercooled and even with an intercooler pushing 7-8 is risky IMO on stock pistons. Buy forged pistons/rods combo and rebuild engine. Now you have a much more reliable higher boost potential engine.
But first off do a compression check to see if you need to rebuild or not before going to turbo power. If your around 180+ on each cyl. i woudl go for it. emoji
