#49239, "TD06 and TD05 housings for a 20g"

Initially I'm going to be using a TD05H-14B, but at some point I would like to upgrade the 14b to a 20g. The thing is that you can get a 20g with either a TD05 or TD06 turbine housing.

Are there any differences between the TD05 and TD06 inlet and outlet flanges with regard to bolt patterns?

I think it would be safe to assume that the actual inlet and outlet diameters would be larger on the TD06...but what are those differences?

Is it possible to stay internally gated with either turbine? For several reasons, I would like to stay internally gated as much as possible. I suppose the main reason is that it would be very difficult to mount a wastegate on my manifold - it is a tubular style manifold. If it is absolutely nessicary to use an external wastegate with the 20g, could it be mounted on the turbine outlet flange(like a T3)? Would it HAVE to be mounted somewhere before the turbine?

I haven't been able to find a compressor map for the TD05H-20g. Anyone? I have one for the TD06H-20g already.

I appreciate any help you guys can give me. What I'm trying to do here is figure out whether or not I need to make a new downpipe, wastegate adapter, manifold, etc. I don't intend to run the 14b for too long. Really I just want it long enough to prove the system works. TIA.

You can stay internally gated with either turbine. If you had to go to an external gate you could do something like an o2 eliminator with an external gate on the wastegate passage. Sort of like this (I don't really like the design of this because they welded the Tial to the flang emoji .. but you'll get the idea)

Here's a TD06 compressor map ...

As for the inlet flange question ... I think they are the same but I can't say for certain. Best to do some extended research on that. The outlet flange I'm 99% sure they are the same.
