Ok, here it goes... My lil brother has a '97 Talon, NT...

We were going to install a nitrous kit on it, but when looking for the FPR, we learned it's back by the fuel tank (in it?) At any rate, this makes it quite hard to raise fuel pressure when using a dry nitrous kit. The Chilton's book I have for the car must not have the returnless fuel system because it lists '95-'98 cars as all having a return line (this might end up being the easy way to go). At any rate, what I really need to know is simple. We already have a 190 LPH in-tank pump.

Does the in-tank FPR have a pressure sense line?

Does the in-tank FPR have the ability to raise pressure above factory set?

If we go wet nitrous kit, can we use the fitting on the end of the fuel rail as a supply?



For future reference, we will be turboing the car, probably within the next 3-6 months. I came up with two ways to get around the whole returnless system.

A) bypass factory FPR, have an AEM unit mounted right outside the tank with a vacuum line from the engine run to it.

B) swap in '95 fuel rail, use factory supply line as return line, and run -6an braided line for the supply.

(btw, we are installing a Walbro 190 lph unit)

I once looked into this and did a little research the honda guys run returnless fuel line systems all the time but noone seems to like the idea ona dsm, i never got around to hooking on up either...

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

the fuel pressure regulator is right by the fuel filter. look under the car, right infront of the rear passanger tire.
