#48540, "Turbo kit in mail....do I have everything?"
HRC Stage 1 is getting ready to be shipped from HRC on Tuesday. From looking around on here I've gotten the following items to compliment the kit.
Vortech SFMU 4G63 8mm exhaust manifold nuts/bolts/washers Missing Link
I think I'm ready, but am I missing anything? I want this installation to go as smoothley as possible. Anything else I should pick up or add to it? I know a fuel pressure gauge is important, does the kit come with one? I dont remember reading about that one. If not, I'll try to pick up an ultralite or lunar one. Also, one the Vortech SFMU, I noticed it comes with these metal rings and a spring. What should I do with those? I dont mean to sound like a newb but I just want to be fully informed. Tia!

The HRC kit does come with a fuel pressure gauge, but it is only intended to be used for system setup and tuning, not permanant installation. You either get one like your talking about ^^ or get one that locates under the hood.

Try the NGK BKR-7E instead of the 7E11, they are the same kind but the 7E has the corect gap for our turbo applications. Of course, you can always gap the 7E11 yourself. Also, GET AN A\F AND EGT GAUGE!!!!! Oh yeah, you might wanna just go ahead and get a brand new fuel filter too.

right now I have the NGK Iridium's, will they work ok? Someone told me they would be fine for turbo. And I'm guessing on the oil, full synthetic would work best?
