I know more than a few people that are running this setup. It's ARD's "this is all the fuel you'll ever need" setup. Brynden runs one .. it's ugly loud. Not a whine like a smaller pump, more of a vibrating groan. It flows enough to support 1000 crank HP, and is build to take either two 6AN lines (in and out) or a 6An in and a 10A out, depending on model.

That would be the only pump you'd need to flow the volume of fuel required for 1000 crank HP, as advertised. I've never heard of one failing.

What size injectors are you planning on getting??? and why dont you have to remove your intake one... I mean that one cant flow 500lbs/hr at 45 psi so wont that one limit this one??? or how does that work?

Well you have to figure also that anyone using the HRC inline, is out flowing their stock pump and it works just fine. I don't know for sure, but if you call ARD or if you run a search for bryndens new fuel system you will find what you need. One thing I will say, is that the guy's at ARD KNOW THEIR SHIT ABOUT THE 420A. They wouldn't put it together as a system if it didn't work, nor would they reccomend it to a guy who will be running a 2.6L stroker motor in the future if it had reliability problems. Call the guy's and ask away, they will answer all your questions, and then you can buy it. BTW that is the only fuel pump you will ever need unless your going to be a professional racer and get REAL crazy, and I mean REALY, REALY crazy.

the inline pump needs a source of fuel it cant just make the fuel appear to be in the line...

hence the INLINE pump idea the intank feeds the inline..

its definatly a nice pump i NEVER hear bad things about aeromotive products...

i actually was just reading about this pump in my newest aeromotive catalog thinking hrm 2.4 turbo and FUEL =)!

Bill

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.

If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

Alright boys, you want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!

Sorry, lost it there for a second. Yes, I run this pump. ARD ran a steel braided line from the tank to the filter, attached to the pump, from the pump to my aftermarket fuel rail, out the rail to my 1:1 FPR, and back to the tank. All in all, a very nice install. One snag... cavitation in the pump. I read about it on the Aeromotive website. They put a 10 micron filter in front of the pump, bad move. The cavitation because of the filter caused the pump to slow so much it appeared to not work. I let the car sit for 30 minutes or so (while it was being towed) started it up, and it worked fine. So I replaced the filter element with a 100 micron filter, not a problem since. Remember that, 100 micron element in front of the pump!

Now, to the pump, it is loud. I mean LOUD!!! I have it mounted under my rear bumper, outside the car, dynamat between it and the car, and dynamat on the inside of the car, and it is still REALLY LOUD. Dino is right, it is a loud vibration. But you know, sometimes you gotta pay to play. It is all I will ever need for a fuel pump, and it will be all you need.

I hope this helps.

Brynden
