What is my oil pressure supposed to be at idle after running it around for awhile? it starts out at 60psi when i turn it over, then when i come home from a drive, when its at idle, it is at 20psi. is this normal?
thanks
anyone ever thought of a drive-thru parts store? that would be cool!

Yes that is normal. Mind does the same thing. 70psi when cold. When the motor warms up idle is about 25-30 any throttle goes to 60psi with 10-30 motor oil.

yep i get fully warm, at idle, about 22 psi. At most cruising speeds, its almost at 60 psi. But yeah, when cold, the pressure at idle is around 60 or so, then starts to lower as the oil becomes warmed up, and starts to thin out some.
