Anyone know what boost this valve starts leaking? mine starts leaking at around 17 psi, could be that it is set up to soft.

The newest Sport Compact car has quite a stupendous article on BOV's with actual numbers on compressor surge and leakage. I'm nearly certain the Type-S is in there. I'll bring it over next time I come by. It also mentioned dual BOV's in there somewhere.

I remember thinking I should tell you something about the Greddy sucking after reading the article... but I think it had more to do with compressor surge.

James, hence greddy makes the Type R...for racing. What ever happen to the Tial valve idea that we were brewing up.. emoji If I can't find a old school blitz, I'll take the S off of your hand.

yup i got that issue dan it looks like the apexi is the best! compressor surge wise. i'm still thinking about the tial valve, just got to determine if it is my bov leaking, you think i could go over to your place sometime dan and use your compressor and boost checker? I was on the 605 las night coming home from class and i decided to do some real hard runs so i dropped it in third and mashed it and it was feeling good, but then i got this wierd fluttering kinda thing, it actually made the car sound different and it actually felt like my tires were expanding and that i was losing traction from the left to right. it could be that i WAS actually losing traction, you know how the 605 has all those little stutter bumps. see I was thinking, if i am boosting 17 psi then my bov is seeing 17 psi on the actual valve side and the port side, so it shouldn't leak, theoretically, but who the hell knows. maybe i'll go to roar race at lunch and just go buy the tial.
