If I am going to be running a wet kit for my car, 60 shot, should i rewire my fuel pump or will i be fine since it is a wet kit and throws in the extra fuel. I do know I need 1 range colder plugs though right?

the fuel pump rewire is only for supplying more voltage to the pump, not more fuel. if you need help with it, here's a link

Higher voltage can increase the fuel pumps potential(how much on our stock pump is a mystery). Check out the flow rates for different voltages on walbro pumps. 1-1.5 volts can make a pretty good difference in flow.
Personally I do not think you need to do the rewire for a 60shot wet kit. Just make sure you use the proper jets(fuel/nitrous) and you will be fine. If you feel the need to go with a much larger shot, you need to retard the timing or run a mix of race/pump gas.
EGT would be a very good idea as well. This is another subject though.
