#48222, "Install my own Star turbo kit??"

Well Im just awaitin word by from Wyatt about my turbo kit, and placing an order... What I was wonderin is if I could be able to install it myself with some other car gurus?? Has anyone here before ever installed their own kits?? I know the instructions for the Star kit suck balls, but if worse comes to worse I can always cheat and look at the Hahn ones instead... Any insight from the people that have installed their own kit, or should I just spend the $1000 and get it installed?

Yea man its easy. I helped (sorta) with the install of Anthonys (Gorkoracing). Looked really easy. Only had a few hang ups with dp fitment. Got it worked out though I think. I had to leave as I live in TN and he lives in AL and i had something to do that evening.

If I can touch a car and have it still run you can do it man emoji

Dude, if you got the money just go for it!! Man, between having a baby, buying the wife a car, and working a crappy job, it'll be years before I get mine...but the second my bank account reads 3k in Eclipse money, I'll be the happiest man alive.

Dude I wish I had that kind of money... Right now Im -$400 in the bank, but my car is slow as balls, so I HAVE to do this... It has the looks (with the CF Hood, RMDSM Lip, and GC Drop), but no balls to back it up... Just tired of havin people rev of me because my car looks fast, and than just havin to back down because i know ill get romped... I would say go for it, 2g's will get it to your house shipped and with EVERYTHING you need to install it... What the hell, right?? Its only money...

but, with -400 in the bank, i dont think it would be wise to spend another 2g's on something that could wait. i would say just back down a little longer until you can at least break even your bank account. just my .02. once you break even though, go for it full force! emoji

1998 Eclipse RS. Nothing great here.
Added the turbo wing and lowered it
down. More to come.
