I gotta killer deal on turbo cams with my motor rebuild. To break the motor in I'll be running stage one on 6psi. My fuel system is a S-FMU with stock injectors and a MSD fuel pump.

probably not. it's a better idea to try not to use the AFC at all in the first place, and with the S-FMU and all of the bleed valve accessories installed you should be able to do it.

I've had a S-AFC in my car for the past 3 years. I have also heard that it is better not to have one especially when running high boost because it will advance timing if you lean it out too much.
I just put in a Howell 2.2L Stroker and have the top-end kit with the Crane #14 ( turbo-grind ) cams as well. I kept my S-AFC in because it was already there, but is it better to keep it with the cams. I have an MSD DIS-2 just to retard the timing at high boost in the event of timing advance by the MAP Sensor. Does this sound right for my setup, and for anyone else that is thinking about cams???
By the way I only have 215 miles on the new motor and clutch so I have not gotten into the boost yet to see how things react, but it wont be long!!!
