#48131, "Vortech SFMU clearance?"

I recently ordered my HRC Stage 1 kit and, at everyones reccomendation, ordered the vortec sfmu and received it today. Damn, its big! I haven't looked under my car near the gas tank all that much but I know space is limited. Will there be enough space to mount it? Kind of a stupid question since I know tons of people on here have it, but I just wanted to be sure.

you dont mount it near the tank. you mount it under the hood on the firewall.

so, let me get this straight, even though I have the late fuel system and the stock FPR is down near the tank, I still mount it in the engine bay??

yes. you get rid of stock FPR, run a return line, and mount it in the front.
