#47772, "NEEDED for rebuild?"

I'm going to start ordering parts for my custom turbo setup so i want to do a slight rebuild. I don't want to replace all the internals (i don't have alot of $$$), so what would you guys suggest? I am probably only going to boost about 8psi maybe 10, and a little more maybe 12 or so at the track? Also, depending on the turbo etc. i get, apx. how much HP will i get from 8-10 psi?

i think you should be getting about to about 240-260hp at 10psi. it would probably depend on your custom set up 2

that's at the crank. you'll be seeing 190-200 at the wheels. don't forget that bryNden had 250 at the wheels before he got his head upgraded at 15 psi.

if your going to rebuild it (pull the motor out and rebuild it yourself) then just get bearings, rods and pistons with rings. but if your going to pay someone to do it all dont even do it since its overtime the oil pump etc will go bad and you will have to pull it out again..
do it correct the 1st time and no need to worry.

You you're REALLY on a budget, just install some Weisco pistons and a new headgasket. You'll be good up to ~13psi when the rods will start to bend.
