That's the right tool, you're just using the wrong end.
The end with the notch in it is used to extract the schrader valve from the inside of the port. Insert that end, and turn it a few times to unscrew the valve from the stem. Give it a shot.

Well I feel better now, but I don't know if I wanna take the valve out yet cause I have a feeling fuel will go everywhere and I don't know if I can get the stem back in. Probably can, but I have to do some driving today so I'll try it later tonight. Tell me if I shouldnt

You cna remove/reinstall it at will.. it should still seal after is has been removed and reinstalled. If not, they sell them in packs of six for a buck at most autoparts stores. yes, some fuel will eject from it when that valve comes out, as the rail is under pressure even when the car isn't running.

Disconnect the fuel pump (under back seat) while the engine is running. Then you'll just get a little dribble, if anything, when you pull out the valve.

how about using the valve to relieve is pressure first. Just push it in with your finger, while having a rag under it to catch any fuel, and to help from spraying anywhere.

Or just unscrew it and let fuel go all over your hands. It won't come out for more then 10 seconds. It screws in and out so if you want to put it back in just screw it back in.

Sounds good guys. Thanks for the tips. Didn't get a chance to try it myself tonight, cause I had to go with my girlie to go car shopping. Didn't buy anything, but it looks like we're gonna get her into an EVO 8. Yeah... wish my parents would buy me an EVO 8. Not fair.
