I know that a stock 420a can handle around a 75-80 shot but what if you had high compression pistons,then what shot could you use?

Built pistons are going to allow you to handle more since they are forged. There are a lot of neon guys that are doing 150 shots on 10.5:1 compression all the time. With the PROPER tuning, you could run 12.5:1 and over 100 shot. With a progressive controller, a 200 shot could be possible. Depends on how deep your pockets go on what you want to have done so the engine can handle it. For that much nitrous use, you would probably need SS valves so you may as well build the whole valvetrain since it all has to come apart to do valves.
