that pipe and filter barely fit. i have to push it down just to get my hood rod to go down. i know some people are just runnin' filters on the ends of the turbo. what filter will fit?

i had the same problem with the filter not fitting in the corner. i didnt even try to make it fit and risk damaging the filter. i hacksawed off enough pipe so that the K&N filter fit in the area the "other" filter they offer is supposed to go. it worked out fine, although it is closer to the heat, it probably only makes a minimal difference. there just wasn't enough room to do what they wanted with the pipe with the bend. Their instructions really suck, apparently my kit is updated compared to the photos they offer inside, the piping route has changed.

i was wondering about that... so you have the filter sitting to the left of the ic pipes? dunno why they didn't put it there in the first place. there's so much open space. i'd still like to just get a filter that fits on the compressor itself, but i'll probably do what you did until i find one. do you have any pics?
