hi,
my tt was working perfectly two days ago. I d/ced the harness and put it back on, now i turn the car off and it automatically shuts off. it shows 30 as the countdown. i can toggle it to Off or 30 by holding the knob to the left, but holding the knob to the right does nothing now. It shows 30 but then when i turn off with the key it immediatly goes to 00 and shuts off. What is the problem?

What is d/ced? When in the countdown mode pushing the knob to the left turns the car off, to the right does nothing, up and down change the amount of time. That is what the button does when it is counting down. It sounds to me like your e-brake wire may have come loose, but I need more info to tell for sure.
