#47034, "just want to confirm fuel calculations...."

ok, so rebuild is done, nd finally have enough miles on the motor to start bring the boost up

I was running 12lbs last night, and it was fine until top of third when EGTs start to climb quickly

Im running 30lb injectors, SFMU and the walbro 255

my fuel pressure was ~75psi at 12lbs

I just went over Corbin's fuel page, and it looks like my fuel pressure needs to be closer to ~87psi at 12bs

Im just wondering wht size disk and what static pressure evryone is running w/ a similar setup and boost levels. Looks like i need to put the 2.72" disc in, or would the 2.47" disc w/ the stiffer spring get me where i need to be?

yeah 75 is too little. i was pusing about 95psi at 12psi. Keeping it a little rich over 10psi of boost just to be on the safe side.

well i'm not runnin' your boost, but i have the same setup. i'm using the 2.72" disc w/ the dark spring. about 31-32psi static, i would think that at 12psi you should be at ~90psi of fp. i'm at 55psi at 5psi and ~70psi at 8psi.

off topic, but since your not running an inline(neither am i)... have you rewired your walbro? just curious.

havent rewired the fp yet...its on my "to-do list" tho. Ill be running the 8 injector setup soon, everything is here, just need to install it, so ill be doing the rewire at the same time.

as for my car now, running 11psi (thought it was at 12, but it spikes to 12 and then settles to 11). fp is at ~80psi (put the 2.72" disc in this afternoon) and egts are much better now up top.

i'm running the 30 lb injects , 3.64" disk(or the largest one), bleed valve, and now at 10 psi. I see around 85 psi at WOT 10 psi, My egts and A/F look really good. To run 11 psi, i would run around 90 psi of fuel. 12 psi, run 95-100 psi of fuel. I'm going to try to run 12-13 psi on these injects once i get another chance to tune.. Oh yeah, i am using about one to one and a half turns out on the bleed valve..that prob makes the rise rate somewhere in between the 2.72 and the 3.64 disks..

at 80psi of fp and 11psi of boost, my egts never went above 1525 and my o2 voltage was over 1.0v

idle pressure is ~22psi, and static is at 35psi

forgot to mention, i am running 8.8:1, so not gonna need as much fuel as the stock motor guys

the car already pulls fuel out at idle, so not sure homw much higher i can put the static, need to get a datalogger on her again i guess...
