I just got done installing my Star Stage 1 turbo kit and thought that I wasn't getting any oil to the turbo housing but it turned out that I was but then why am I getting oil in my exhaust? You can see white smoke coming out. Anybody knows that can help? I haven't taken it for a drive yet because that oil in the exhaust doesn't seem right. Please help!!! I'm waiting on an answer to solve this.

White smoke isn't oil (oil is blue/black never white. white is usually water). Since you haven't run it yet you couldn't have blown anything. I't take it for a short drive out of boost and then re-evaluate.

Can you give me a explaination on how the install went. Was it hard? Any problems? And how mechanicaly inclined are you? I just want a feel for how hard it is going to be to install the stage one. I am going to install it myself with somw help from someone with a stage two. But I want to do most of it myself.

It's fun...just take your time and remember to Relax! Just take caution that your back will hurt after a while under that hoo

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

Jack the car way up on jackstands AND leave the jacks. Put something behind the wheels and leave it that way except for thre fuel pump. You'll be spending a bunch of time underneath the car and its easier to work from the top with the car jacked up too. If you can get the sh*t you have now off easily the rest is fairly easy. Mechanically inclined? Lets just say everything I've installed (nitrous, turbo) has been a new experience for me. I cant even change the crank pulley or an axle but managed to install the big two with no prior experience. I wrenched on zero cars before this one.
