#46899, "What fuel injector setup should I get?"

OK guys....it's time for the injector questions.
I got everything set. Turbo, and etc... And for some background.
I will do a turbo first running at 5PSI or 4PSI then after summer, I will rebuild my engine and run 10PSI...NO MORE THEN 14PSI ever!
For now. I got the Vortech SFMU and the Walbro 255 fuel pump.
But I didn't get or plan to get any fuel injectors.

Here is my questions. This is kinda stupid... I know, but just want to make sure.
1) For our stock injectors, what cc are they? (220?)
2) people sometimes use cc, and lb for injector. how are they related?
3) For my setup above, first 5PSI, then up to 10 or 14PSI.. should I just leave the stock injector? or change it? to what?

I want to get everything up and right the first time. So after rebuild and when I push my car higher in PSI, I don't have to change anything. So do do I need new injectors emoji

Thanks guys!

I think for that 4-5psi you should be fine with your stock injectors. Once you start breaking 10psi id say you should definately upgrade. Just make sure youre running the right fuel pressures with the SFMU and keep watch of your fuel pressures with a good FP gauge. Make sure your injectors are CLEAN. I believe the stockers are 235cc/min.

to get cc/min to lb/hr youre going to have to divide by 10.5. Hence 235cc/min = ~22lb/hr.

My oh my you're a brave guy... but I cannot sit by and lie... sir I simply have no DFI.

Anyways, yeah, get 30lb injectors if you get any turbo kit 1-10psi. You'll thank yourself. They drop right in with no modification, the ECU takes care of the adjustments. The kits should really come with them, 235cc at 120psi is just silly. emoji

Max fuel pressure for 6psi should be about 100psi @ 85% duty cycle. Thats not too bad for stock injectors. Ofcourse upgraded injectors are always better, but they still cost money emoji

Hey Murix if it makes you happy, I'm one of those guys that's trying to break the 15psi+ barrier. I'm only worried about timing. I don't really want to do 440 and SAFC, but rather just bigger injectors and see how my ecu holds out or maybe the 8 injector setup. I'm still doing some research to see which is the more effective and safeter.

Thanks guys.
So for me... the best will be getting 315cc (30lb) injectors?
Usually how much are they?
is the stock eclipse running 4 line injectors right? so I replace all four? how much are they? which brand is the best? Thanks guy!
