#46858, "So,,,,,,I installed my 440cc injectors today ! Question?"

I set idle pressure @ 28psi.
BoOst set @ about 12 psi. and 85 psi.
a 275 disk in the S-fmu
egt round 16 or so...

this sound right?
or should I have more fuel pressure under BoOst??

BTW-- she seem to love the larger injectors
started right up no missing or nothing.
no s-sfc as of yet.

thank you very much for any info..

you have to remember that at 12 psi boost and 85 psi fuel pressure you are actually getting 73 psi of differential fuel pressure. at 12 psi, i think that is a little bit low. but it should be okay if the ecu compensates.

You're running the 440cc ok without the SAFC? I've had this idea that without the SAFC, you'd flood the engine with those injectors which is why I went to the 310cc. Because I want to up the boost, now I'm wishing that I'd gotten the 440cc if I knew you didn't need an SAFC. with the 310cc my idle fuel pressure is at 25psi. Shouldn't your idle fp be a little bit lower because they're larger than normal?

i am running about 17-18 psi idle
about 25-28 static
and about 100-110 psi at 15 psi boost
this will give you a differential fuel pressure of about 85-90 psi
i haven't had any problems with this setup, but your car may be different, try different settings out, you ultimately need to datalog the car and see what your fuel trims are at, this will tell you how well it is working out. my max duty cycle has been 85%

So do you or dont you need a SAFC to run 440cc injectors? Cause I was going to get 310's but my friend gave me a good deal on 440cc RC injectors, but i dont want to buy a SAFC.

YES you can run your car with the correct fuel setup. you just got to run low idle fuel pressure and know how to tune.
