I was installing my missing link and the little orange filter got stuck in the intake manifold and theres no way to get it out, i put my stock map sensor back in and my car started so hopefully nothing goes bad while im driving. My question is do I need that little filter or whatever it is for the missing link to function? Will the filter cause harm to my car being stuck in the intake manifold? THanks hopefully I get replies back asap. I know what you guys are thinking "who and the hell ever did something that careless. I know I know but what can I say shit happens

Probably shouldn't have started the car. It may not be in the manifold anymore. Hopefully if it went in the engine it could make it back out. If anything it's probably in the head by the valves.

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak at the joint between the ML and the manifold. That will make a hiss noise and make the idle too high. Maybe you didn't tighten it down enough, or you have some trash on the little o-ring seal, or the ML does not fit your manifold. The holes on my ML were not drilled right for my manifold (avenger manifold). I had to drill out each hole by 1/16" to make it fit.

Im such an idiot it was just the cap and corbin your right it wasnt on tight enough, hopefully that cap stuck in the manifold doesnt do any harm, my car is driving fine right now and i drove it 60 miles today.
