#46713, "still getting strange fuel cut"

so yeah. i get fuel cut above 10 psi. can't really figure out why.

i finally took off my HRC FCD this weekend. the missing link works correctly now for some reason (every other time i tried this it would cut out at 0 psi, not above and not below. i figured that my missing link was defective, so i just left it there and hoped that it would fix itself.) my S-AFC says that my MAP sensor voltage goes up to 4.6 now instead of 4.2 at and above 0 psi of boost. yay. BTW, i have no correction programmed into the AFC it's just there for fun.

i datalogged my setup. my short-term idle fuel trims are perfect, almost exactly 0%, right around 16-18 psi of fuel with my 415 cc/min injectors. ignition advance is about 17-19 degrees in boost at WOT. oxygen sensor voltage is very high, ".980-1.000" says the datalogger while in boost at WOT. i'm using the dark "hard" spring and the 2.44" S-FMU disk. 0 vac pressure is about 28-30 psi of fuel. i didn't have a chance to glance at the fuel pressure at full boost (8-10) psi because it's hard to see the gauge which is mounted in my glove box (designed so my co-pilot can do the datalogging/fuel pressure reading, but he wasn't around this weekend)

i have the denso iridium spark plugs, gapped to whatever they come as.

i can't really tune the boosted fuel curve because my bleed valve doesn't have a check valve yet. still need to get one from HRC. getting fuel curves in boost all set would require messing up my fuel curves in vacuum, so right now i have it fully closed. i know an excessively rich condition will cause fuel cut, but i also know that it will throw a CEL code, which i am NOT getting. if i'm that rich in boost why does it decide to cut the fuel at anything above 10 psi? why not 9? or 8?

<bitch mode> it seems as if every time i ask a fuel system related question, no one really ever replies with anything useful. XtreamRS usually feels bad and tries to help (thanks matt), but he doesn't have my exact setup (415's, dark spring, 2.44" S-FMU disk) and i try and tune my car off of something like "your fuel pressures should be about this..." which is helpful for a ballpark, but i know there are other people out there with the 415 cc/min injectors and the S-FMU. hell, i don't even really know if i'm using the correct S-FMU disk. i've tried metaljim's msexcel thingy, and i can't figure that out either. there's so much confusion happening. </bitch mode>

.98-1.0 o2's is pretty rich, which may be all of your problem. May just be as simple as being to rich...the bleed valve will work great for fine tuning that. I think you are pretty close, just get the bleed valve working.
